Open on YouTubeWhat to Focus on for Level 139
This part of Meowdoku usually tests long chains across rows, columns, and colors. Before placing a cat, scan every colored region and identify the smallest one. Then check whether any of its cells would block a neighboring row through diagonal adjacency.
After every forced placement, rescan the neighboring rows for newly impossible cells.
A Reliable Solving Pattern
- 1. Find the smallest or most awkward colored region.
- 2. Remove cells that would touch another forced cat candidate.
- 3. Check whether a row or column has only one legal color left.
- 4. Repeat until every row, column, and color has one cat.
Level 139 Tip
Watch for paired regions
Two color regions can sometimes occupy the same two rows or columns. If one region takes the first column, the other may be forced into the second.
