Open on YouTubeWhat to Focus on for Level 30
This part of Meowdoku usually tests rules and simple row/column scanning. Before placing a cat, scan every colored region and identify the smallest one. Then check whether any of its cells would block a neighboring row through diagonal adjacency.
Check the smallest color region before committing to any obvious row move.
A Reliable Solving Pattern
- 1. Find the smallest or most awkward colored region.
- 2. Remove cells that would touch another forced cat candidate.
- 3. Check whether a row or column has only one legal color left.
- 4. Repeat until every row, column, and color has one cat.
Level 30 Tip
Scan columns after each row decision
Because each column gets exactly one cat, a row placement is also a column placement. After you narrow a row to one or two candidates, check whether either column is already claimed by another forced region.
